Nutridose Monitor Prevents Disaster

After mixing a new batch of urea concentrate, the Nutridose Concentration Monitor continuously shut the system down. This was because the urea had not dissolved completely and was increasing in concentration as it layered at the bottom of the concentrate tank.

This allowed further mixing to take place and prevented a urea overdose that would have resulted in disaster.

Satellite monitoring now available at reasonable cost

Satellite monitoring of the nutridose operation is now available. This provides real time information on the dosing operation as well as providing all of the information required on the watering sites. Click here for more information.

Cattle power up as season breaks

Cattle that have been on  nutridose supplementation during the dry are coming away much faster than others in the district that have had no or little supplementation. This effect has been documented by researchers in the past and provides significant production gains, particularly as these cattle will go to market six months before non supplemented cattle.

Wet Season Increases Phosphorus Requirement

By feeding Urea Phosphate via the Nutridose through the wet season you will ensure there is adequate phosphorus for growth.

Ammonia Smell controlled by Urea Phosphate

Urea Phosphate is a strong acid when dissolved in water and will stabilise urea in most waters. Ammonia occurs when urea breaks down and is lost to the atmosphere. Losses of more than 20% can occur and the addition of Urea Phosphate can prevent this loss.
